A rose for you today
This is the spirit of June, as far as I am concerned. I was blessed that day with being able to see, smell and photograph what seemed like a million roses at the Woodland Park Rose Garden in Seattle, right next to the zoo. I prefer roses to animals, myself.
Every now and then, I feel like posting a photo from that glorious day. Wish we could smell it, too.

This rose is simply beautiful, Sara. And this, coming from a Photoshop junkie. Well, I’m on a 12-step program, so I’ll be ok.
I prefer roses too and that one is a beauty!
A wonderful color on your rose!
Beautiful rose, beautiful shot. Every where I go the roses have been cut back. I can’t wait until they start blooming again.
A beautifu rose! And yes it would be wonderful to be able to bury ones nose in it. I suppose someday that technogy will be there too…
Beautiful rose. I grew up –literally–in/at Woodland Park. I really liked the Rose Garden. I wonder if the pons of goldfish are still there. MB
A very beautiful rose with many buds to come.

Oh, that is so lovely! I almost feel as though I CAN smell it… 🙂
