Watery and Wordless Wednesday ferry wake
This was taken from the Larkspur ferry in Northern California just north of San Francisco, in the San Francisco Bay. I love the living shape of the water. For more watery fun, click HERE.
Captivating picture! The water certainly is artistically animate. Particularly in the foreground the alternating colors in the wave peaks and valleys help me envision the water’s oscillations.
I find the wakes of boats interesting too! With a bit of imagination, it can be some deep, dark monster!! Great photo.
PS. That was a shag over at ‘my world through my camera lens’. I captioned it just for you!! thanks for visiting!
Beautiful and vast. The waters look like they have a life of their own. Great capture!
That is beautiful – I really like the wide angle of itl! I was just over in Marin County the other day. I wonder if you were taking the ferry over to SF or vice versa. I wish we had more ferries on the bay here like you’ve got up in the Puget Sound area. Enjoy the day…
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a close up view such as this of San Francisco Bay! Thank you for that!
I think this is a great capture. The water looks scary from this angle as you can actually see that it would carry you away and quickly. Awesome!
Awesome photograph, that must have been a fun trip and you got this beautiful photo out of it too. Another wonderful image.
