Lady’s Mantle for Watery Wednesday
I took this photo at the Steidhardt Garden tour in Mt. Kisco, NY on my visit recently. This incredible place is 55 acres of exquisite plants AND animals, open to the public two days a year. It was drizzly, but hailing from Seattle these days, I’m used to it. This low-growing plant is grown for just how pretty it looks in the rain.

Interesting choice.

Happy WW!
Oh I love this post. How come I keep forgetting this type of images? Lovely lovely image.
The rain adds a lot to an already very beautiful image. Love it!
Is the wetness from rain or morning dew?? Happy WW. Great shot.
very cool – must have been a great day trip
That would be a LOT of dew. It was rain, although it was light rain. It was a fabulous day. If I didn’t want to clog up this blog I would post some more from that amazing place. Thanks, all, for stopping by and your kind words.
Beautiful!
Lovely photo. I might have to think about getting out after the rain with my camera.
