Pink tree in the Bronx Botanical Garden
This tree was blooming so intensely in my recent trip to the Bronx (New York) Botanical Garden. On Wednesdays you can walk through the grounds for free. Such a deal! I’ll post a photo every now and then from that amazing trip; must save some for the long Seattle winter of no flowers. Hope you like it.
I found out about a Pink Saturday photo meme, and it looks delightful. This ought to qualify!

Oh my, Sara. This is magnificent beyond words. I can only imagine that seeing it up close must take your breath away.

Nice form and color.
If you have an imagination, picture in mind what this 50 foot wide Mt. Fuji in Wilsonville, Oregon, will look like when it blooms. Not as tall as the tree you posted though:

One of the most fun trees that I’ve pruned. Would love to tinker on the tree you posted for.
Had a chance to volunteer pruning to the Oregon Garden once – that was nifty.
Cheers,
