Upper West Side NYC shadows
I took lots of photos on my trip, of course, but mostly the gray Seattle weather seemed to follow me to New York, which is not so good for shadows. But one lovely afternoon we were walking around the Upper West Side and the light coming through the trees in Central Park across the street was just perfect. I can’t decide which photo I like best, so please help me choose. Long shot, or closeup?

Ooooh! Difficult choice…I decided long shot, then close up…then went back to long shot…but I think in the end I honestly can’t choose! I love the colour in the long shot but I love the mood of the close up!
Difficult to choose but I think I like the long shot one the best. I can’t believe the Seattle weather followed you all the way to New York. What’s with that!?! Oh well, I’m sure you had a wonderful trip anyway. Have a great Sunday Sara 🙂
love your new york shadows. your garden is beautiful too!
I love your New York shadows!! 🙂
Have a great sunday
Anna
I think I like the first one better, only because it shows more of the beautiful buildings.
I like the first ‘long’ shot, but both are excellent.
Wonderful shadow shots! I like them all.
Sorry I missed your photos and news of your visit. I trust you had a fun time in the city.
Best,
Paz
I love these! Such great shadows, lovely buildings beautiful colors! Thanks for sharing! Happy SSS!
That is a difficult choice. I can’t chooose.
I love those residences around the upper west side. New York is very cool, even in less priveledged neighborhoods.
I like these shots. Really good.
I like them both for different reasons ;–)
Hugs and blessings,
I love the wrought fence of the door. Am a lover of wrought and Gee… that’s terrific and perfect shots to my eyes.
Lovely!
ENjoy the week ahead.
I think they’re both lovely. Glad you didn’t choose but shared them both.
The buildings are beautiful! Great pictures! Thanks for sharing!
Sarah, these are gorgeous shadows! Thanks for posting Ruby Tuesday! 🙂
beautiful warm shadows
Very nice. I couldn’t pick between the two. To me they’re just completely different and equally nice.
Beautiful set.
I prefer the long shot. Love the ambience of the shadows.
