Curvy New York building
This mostly building photo gets included as a Skywatch post because the building seems to looks like part of the sky to me. I took this from the car on the upper West Side; I think we were on the Henry Hudson Parkway. If anyone knows what this building is, please let us know. [Later note: This is the IAC office building designed by Frank Gehry, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Edificio_IAC_InterActiveCorp.JPG]

ooooh, yes…. let us know, New Yorkers, that is one groovy building… judging from the grooviest of photos, of course! ๐
I like this photo! The curves in the building, the colors, the reflections in the windows – they all add up to something that really strikes me in a positive way. Great job getting this one.
The building reflects the sky ยดso magnificently, truly great sky watch image! ๐
Interesting building.

Thanks for your kind words. Isn’t it great when the photos turn out well?
That is a wild looking building and photograph. Can you imagine what it would look like if you could capture a sunset in it and then do it in HDR?
Wow … what an amazing capture! Love the perspective and the reflections making the building and sky look integrated! Just beautiful ;–)
Hugs and blessings,
I think that this is the Frank Gehry designed Interactive/IAC HQ. Quite a stunning shot.
You were on the West Side Highway (as old-time New Yorkers call it) or West Street (it’s current name). The Henry Hudson Pky begins north of 57th St. Digital Flower is correct, it is the Frank Gehry IAC Building. Home Shopping Network is in there.
