Roses for Today's Flower
I don’t usually like flower photos with insects, but I’m making an exception for this bee working the red rose. But then again, the non-bee one is pretty nice, too. Which do you prefer?

A very beautiful rose, and I love the photo with the bee. I have been trying to capture the “perfect” bee photo so I am always on the lookout for just the right one.
Have a great day

I have to admit I am not the best to answer your question! You see, I am so fascinated by insects – when I can keep them out of my home, and take macros of them in nature!
I love both your shots! The rose is so vibrant in color, and the little bumble bee is so cute!
Have a nice Sunday!

They are both true beauties, but I like the one with the Bee best. The reason being, if it wasn’t for the Bee, there would be no flower 😀 isn’t nature great!
I’m a lover of bugs and blooms so both are wonderful images for me! You know we need those bees to pollinate so they are a good thing to learn to love!
smiles..bee-utiful!
Hmmm.. both are nice, but I prefer the one with the Bee as it looks so alive with its cute activity. =) Thanks for sharing and thanks for visiting me last week via Today’s Flowers. Greetings from East Borneo.
I think I have to go for the bee photo. Nice work.
I like the second one for the delicate yellows of the center. But I am glad the bug is satisfied….
A lovely rose, although the first has the bee, the second beats it hands down with the halo in the centre amplifying its golden heart.
To bee or not to bee…
I like them both… I like bees but the stamens, yellow bits and whatnot in the bee-free photo are quite striking and I think that the bee distracts from that.
Either what, tis a beauty of a photo.
Very pretty open flower, I like the with and without bee idea.
