Tree shadows
Oh, the joys of a sunny day are so much magnified when spotting shadows is your game. Here’s a bouquet of shadow shapes for you today, aka a tree. If you crave yet more of the ephemeral penumbra, visit Hey Harriet’s blog at Shadow Shot Sunday. It’s one of the best places in the blogosphere.
Magnificent shadow shot! Love it!
What a great shadow. I can actually visualize the tree making them.
‘Ephemeral penumbra?’ – I love that!!! I also love your beautiful bouquet of shadow shapes! How neat it would be to be able to order those from our local florists!?! 😉
I actually used that phrase just for you, Tracy aka Harriet, knowing you’d love it. See how the shadow scene you created makes creativity flow everywhere?
A fantastic crisp shadowSarah, love those pink flowers in the post below too. Happy sunday to you :0)
Spangling the sidewalk
tree shadows shimmer and shine
like darkling specters.
Sara:
So many great shots lately. Love the Dragon Star captures and all of the flowers, especially the daisies, the way the one in front just jumps out at us!
What a beautiful shot..very soft looking.
Happy SSS.
Glad you like the pix and the flowers especially, Greensboro. I have really been having fun with the macro setting on my little point-and-shoot and think it’s a neat effect. If I can’t lug around a big ol’ SLR, at least I can have some depth of field to play with using that setting.
Beautiful! I love studying shadows, especially moonlight shadows.
WOW! Very distinctive leaf shadows! thanks for sharing! 🙂
Great shot, Sara. It is so distinct. Hope you had fun camping. We just got back from an overnighter.
I love tree shadows are you can see from my SS….
You really had very sunny day! Whilst in Sweden, it’s cloudy but warm. Meaning, cloudy? I have to run around the city of Stockholm to catch my best shots.
Love your 5 fingers leaves SS.
Have a great day!
Lovely shadow!
