Summer scene: fishing Lake Cushman
Today may have been the last perfect day of summer. In honor of this fabulous season that’s fading fast, here’s a hymn to lovely, warm weather. I took this in August at Lake Cushman of some gentleman trying his luck.

Nice shot of the lazy end days of summer. It’s starting to fade here on the east side of the Sierra – not so hot days, cool nights, and a few tinges of color starting to show up on the deciduous plants. But when fall really gets here, it is always beautiful.
Wow; that looks so peaceful. I want to go.
For the past few days, there have been people fishing in the river next to my dormitory. It makes me itch to do the same thing, and I’m not even that much of a “nature girl.” It’s just for that beautiful solitude…
I love Lake Cushman. Lovely shot.
Such a beautiful scene!
beautiful lake. looks very peaceful out there.
It does look really warm and peaceful there. It does suggest that the season is fading…
It looks a nice place for a cool swim too. Autumn there, Spring here.(Hooray)
Lovely peaceful scene
