Bench shadows
Downtown Burien Washington, south of Seattle, is really getting spiffed up. A new town square is home to fairs, sculpture, the works. Here’s a shadow shot for you from a recent afternoon. For more shadows around the world seen so very creatively, visit Shadow Shot Sunday.

Burien iron bench with sidewalk shadows

This is a fabulous shadow shot. Shadows in two directions and so very crisp. Nice work.
This is really neat! It’s very cool how the bench shadow stretches so far across the sidewalk. It’s almost like it’s taking over the area! Nice news about the area being spiffed up. Super shadows help with the spiffifying! I’m quite sure ‘spiffifying’ isn’t a real word but it should be if it isn’t 😉
Looks like we need to apply sun lotion if we were to sit there. Too sunny! ;p
wow! You really captured shadows here. Wonderful.
The benches give a beautiful shadow..so pretty. Good job.
Happy SSS.
What a great photo study, love the shadows.
Happy PS!

Wow, so many beautiful shawdows. I love it. Shadow overdose 🙂
Fantastic shot! Love those crisp, clear, marvelous shadows! And such a lovely day! We have had some lately haven’t we?
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

I think wrought iron is my very favourite type of shadow shot…just exquisite!!
A double with this one, the bench and fence both had interesting shadows.
Here’s your choice, my dear:
You may sit upon the bench
or on the shadow.

You all have left such great comments! Thanks so much, Sara
Absolutely love the shadows! I think early morning and late evening only, would be the best times to relax on that bench! 🙂
