Red Japanese maple
This was a potted specimen on a porch is Seattle, and I swear this was the color. I have NEVER seen such brilliant red foliage on a plant.

Pretty spectacular, at first we thought “over the top Photoshop” – but as it has a name, it must be real. Very cool capture.

Beautiful Japanese Maple !!!!

If there is such a colour as burgundy crimson red, then this must be an exquisite example!
Japanese maples make a stunning display in fall. Thanks for reminding me. I think our is more maroon than bright red. Love this photo!

Another stunning photo. That’s a gorgeous tree!
Oh, I believe you about the color. My mother wanted this specific type of tree. That story I may someday blog about or save for my next book. Vibrant, and stunning photo.
I have seen this tree in Japan…it’s truly that color! I often get photos of this tree from my Japanese friends…so, once again, the color is true! I love it and you captured its beauty very well!
The red Maple leaves are really pretty..
très belles couleurs de saison.
Beautiful! Who says you have to travel to Vermont for Fall color!

Awesome shot! That’s a wonderful color of red!
Nice shot – spring is my guess. The red Japapnese maple leaves often get a bit of dark green in late summer. Spring should provide the best season to photograph if solid leaf color is desired. The big full leaves like these are my favorites, more so than the fine dissected leaves. The leaf serrations really seem to add.
