Roses in the fog
The other morning the rose bed in front of the house was all foggy looking, just for a few minutes. That’s my neighbor’s planting in the background. We are putting tulips around the edges of the rose bed for the springtime, before the roses get going, and planted them just in time for the recent rain to bless the bulbs.

I bet that garden is beautiful in the afternoon sunlight!
Happy WW! Have you ever been on The London Eye? If not, here are some photos of what it is like: http://tinyurl.com/yll4225
Gorgeous , I love roses.
I am showing my rose garden today too …
How lovely! I really enjoy morning fog – it’s one of my favorite settings.
Wish I can have a rose garden of my own 🙂
Happy WW!
I love how it’s all misty bet the roses do to. Happy WW
Mmmm, mystical (mist-ical!) rose garden, just lovely!
That is just plain beautiful! Happy WW!
The bulbs will be beautiful in spring, The roses are beautiful now.
That’s a wonderful, dreamy picture. And you reminded me to get going on planting those bulbs for spring.
I really like the thick fog, we have a lot of that here as well.
Great capture 🙂
Really foggy but roses still exudes their beauty!
Here’s to a Watery Wednesday in the Korean side of the world.
Lovely! I wish I had that kind of space….
Even in the fog Sara the gardens looks lovely especially the roses.
Love the misty look. Happy WW
What a beautiful effect! Mother Nature certainly pulls out all the stops, doesn’t she?
A mystical magical moment, I expect to see fairies any second.
Beautiful rose garden.
Beautiful morning and a a lovely view.
Beautiful garden and just wait until next spring when the tulips come up! The PNW climate that you’re in provides the perfect elements for nurturing such colorful, lush gardens…unlike our semiarid wasteland down here in Cali!
How lovely and mysterious.
Stopping by on my first Wordless Wednesday :o)
It’s really quite foggy.
Lovely roses and garden. Hopefully the fog burnt off with the sun rising.
Thank you all for the great comments. Don’t we all love roses! Yes, the fog left, the little fairies dancing left, and now the fall rain is here. I bet there will still be another flower or two left for us this year, though.
You have such a beautiful garden!
Hi Sarah,
As an artist, the soft fog effect you caught so well, makes this look like a painting. Gorgeous photo (even if I weren’t partial to roses.) This is my first time here via Wordless Wed, but I’ll surely be back.
Wow… I have no word for it.What can I say for it. It is awesome. I love it. Thank you very much for sharing a lovely picture with us.
