Today's rose
Took this yesterday in a break from the heavy rain we’ve been having. Roses don’t really like a lot of rain and if you know more is coming, you might as well pick the ones you have and enjoy the bouquet before they get too battered. Isn’t this a pretty one?

It’s a gorgeous red rose, Sara! We’ve been bombarded with rain too but next week is suppose to be beautiful.
But they look so lovely with the raindrops on them!
gorgeous, rich color. raindrops add jewel-likeness.
That is one gorgeous rose. I am glad it survived the rain.
Just beautiful..
Lovely picture of a lovely rose.

have a nice week!
A lovely drenched rose, a glotiously long bud.
So pretty! I’m sure the rose appreciated the break in the rain as much as you did. 🙂 Beautiful coloring!
What a great looking rose. I know they don’t like rain but the drops sure look good! I’m in mushroom mode now, the more rain the better.
Stunning red depth in this rose and love the tight folds of petals!
Beautiful! I always believe that flowers and plants are happier when it rains. They have this certain glow. 🙂
my RT entry is here.
Beautiful red rose with water droplets! This is a really great capture!
