Summer solstice garden
This was taken at the opposite time of the year, on June 22 of last year. What a difference the tilt of the earth makes! Here is a scene from Highline Gardens for your enjoyment.

It’s quite refreshing to see green at this time of the year. Happy Holidays.
That is lovely! Merry Christmas to you!
It was nice garden tour. Enjoyed your blog very much. Keep up the good work.
Beatiful scene, I love these kind of ponds with the water lilies. They are so pretty. Great shot.
Just gone through your blog and found your pond garden to be awesome. It is quite refreshing. Have a wonderful Christmas.
Oh my … how right you are! What wonderful reflections in your colorful watery view of this beautiful spot under blue skies. Love the white puffy clouds too 😉
Hugs and blessings,
What a lovely shot! It makes me yearn for the warm weather of June. Best wishes and Merry Christmas from another Washingtonian on this wordless Wednesday.

Beautiful scene. Very lush. We miss the summer warmth.
I haven’t beheld a scene like that in a long time. Reno and the Sierra are frozen and covered with snow right now. I’m already longing for the green of spring.
Ahhh… So bright and light and pretty! Nice change form the snowy scene I have here!
Thank you all for visiting and leaving a comment. We sure like to see that green and sunny right now, don’t we?
Where I live the weather doesn’t change a whole lot , I wear a light jacket year round. But just a couple hours inland it gets much more extreme. A lovely pool? Kind of makes me curious what your pool looks like now under mounds of snow maybe?
I only wish this was my own garden, but it is a local place originally created by one woman. In any case, Seattle rarely gets too much snow (last year was an exception) as all the water around it seems to moderate the northern latitude a lot. Thanks for visiting!
thank you for the kind words and for linking me. i appreciate this. happy holidays.
the view is so relaxing!
