Mt. Rainier
It was sunny for a little bit yesterday so I went out for a walk while it lasted. Here is our active volcano (could blow any time), Mt. Rainier, showing its winter snows. The theme forĀ Thursday Challenge is “Winter,” so take a look there at some other wintery ideas.
This is a good one for Scenic Sunday as well. And hello, Skywatch Friday folks!
Wow. Stunning! I love the light blue of the mountain!
Beautiful photo for winter theme !
…Follow the poop!
Great view of Mt. Ranier. Whenever I’ve been out that way, it’s hazy and I can’t see it that well. I sure hope it doesn’t blow its top!
Wow! This is just a beautiful mountain and shot!:-)
Have a nice day!
Beautiful. Just beautiful. I stood on her summit in July of this year, and love to stare at pictures of the mountain from every angle. Thanks for this one.
What a shot of an amazing landmark! Beautiful snowy scene!
Ah, yes! We do have a beautiful world, don’t we, Sara! Hope you have a terrific weekend! Enjoy!

Such a contrast – tranquil skies against an active volcano. And all that snow over hidden fires.
Beautiful clouds and glorious light in your photo
Beautiful view. Great shot.
It almost looks like something from a dream sequence. Excellent piece of work.
Stunning. Did you take this with your new camera?
Yes, I did take this with my new camera. It zooms a tiny bit closer, but the image is finer and larger, so I can crop tighter. Very useful for things like this. I love the new Canon SD90!
Thanks for visiting!
Sara

wonderful portrait of this gorgeous area!
