The overlook
There was a break in the clouds late in the afternoon on Sunday so I rushed out to the overlook near my house to see what the water looked like. Scenic!
Visit Scenic Sunday and Watery Wednesday for more intriguing photos. Try Weekend Reflections, too.
This one holds up, after returning a few days later, so I’ve chosen it as Best Post of the Week.
Scenic indeed. Really like the combination of the clouds in the distance and the water.
There’s a positive thing about Seattle’s cloudy weather – beautiful sky pictures. We’ve been giving you a run for your money this winter with overcast and clouds. That El Nino has a grip on us.
Your photo is gorgeous. I’m near the other Washington….Washington, D.C. We just dug ourselves out of 22 inches of snow….bracing for a second storm. Your photo makes me believe that spring will be here soon!
makes me feel homesick. I grew up in between seattle and tacoma.
Now I live 5 hours from the smell of salt water and cedar.
Beautiful and mysterious!
It’s gorgeous, what a view. Bet you get some awesome storms being so close to the water.
A perfect capture! Thanks for dropping by!Happy WW!
This is right from your house?!! Boy, do YOU live right!!! Awesome.

If I live beside this scene, I would be the luckiest person of all. It is something I need especially when I am stressed.
Great location! You caught beautiful shot. Thanks for sharing it. Adorable!
I am so happy that you all visited and took the time to leave a comment. A great scene like this deserves to be shared.
Even without the reflection this would be an outstanding picture. So now it’s beyond outstanding. Great shot!
The sky is….special. Excellent image Sara.
