Apricot rose
This gray, gray, rainy and cold weather Seattle has been having has me longing for summer. Or spring! Seems like we are back in winter again, somehow. So it’s time to delve in the archives for a breath of warmth. This photo is from a truly halycon day at the end of July last year. I have no idea of the name of the rose as it was in someone else’s garden. Wish I had one like it!

Great color! I wish I had luck with roses. The only one I haven’t managed to kill yet is one called Carefree.
Whatever it’s called, it’s gorgeous! I can almost smell it!
Beautiful π
Such a delicious colour.
Very nice!!!! It almost made me sniff my monitor. π
Gorgeous!
I love this color. I discovered a rose over the weekend at a neighbor’s house called a bourbon rose. I’m sure with your garden knowledge you’ve heard of it. It has a very strong perfume, grows in the shade, and has no thorns! I hope to get a picture of it in the next couple of days. I don’t grow roses – just admire them. But maybe I’ll start growing them!
They’ll be blooming again before you know it. π Beautiful loveliness! We’ve been a little chilly too, but eventually the warmth will come. π
Gorgeous color in a rose. My eyes are glued to the petals beckoning in the main rose and love that rose softly “peering downward” underneath it. Happy MM!
