Succulent shadows
All cacti are succulents, but not all succulents are cacti. This is a succulent plant maybe a foot (35 cm) or so across that I found on a recent sunny day at the Volunteer Park Conservatory. So vigorous and strong looking!

Love the shadows in this shot. Very detailed and great composition. I also did not know all cacti are succulents so thanks for that information.

It does look very strong. And those leaves look very sharp and pointy! Lovely shadows and shades of green! I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend Sara 🙂

I love the texture of those leaves, especially the one directly in the light on the right. It looks like I could reach out and touch it. I like this shadow shot a lot.
Peace.

Love those strappy leaves and the shadows that they have given. The colour is gorgeous.
