Late zinnias
Believe it or not, I took this today, October 22, at the Pike Place Market in Seattle, which sells only what the local growers actually grow on their farms. How sweet to see these pink zinnias’ cheerful faces, into autumn as we surely are.

Lovely colors! They make me think about one of the color lessons I have learned here in the Southwest: Pink and orange go well together! Not a thing I might ever have seen in my New England garden.

Ohh! Zinnia is one of my favorite flowers. I have it in my garden all year round. This is a beautiful, colorful bunch. You framed it so well.

Pike Place Market is such an AMAZING place. My son live on Bainbridge Island so I have been there many times. I always am awestruck by the many varieties of flowers on sale there…along with the fish, of course. The hues of color in this shot are lovely. Lovely photography.
