Rain drenched red rose
I took this old-fashioned rose photo at Highline Botanical Garden not too long ago. It’s a little garden (a few acres) right north of SeaTac Airport that’s just a delight, rain or shine. And the plants don’t mind the low-flying planes.

Your rain droplets are stunning. What lens are you using?
Happy Ruby Tuesday.

Very nicely done. Love the way you captured the rain on it.
My Ruby Tuesday link for you
Since it is cool out, I am shivering. Very visually tactile photo!
Oh, how gentle and delicate. The drops of wet add to the delicacy. If she were a dancer, she would flutter about on the stage.
The droplets really give the photo life. Very nicely done. Happy RT.
the flower is really cradling those droplets so beautifully
Simply gorgeous! A beautiful photo for Ruby Tuesday!
Thanks for dropping by, everyone, and especially thank you to those who took the time to leave a comment. Much appreciated. Glad you like this sparkly photo!
Susan L, I use a tiny Canon S90, a glorified point-and-shoot, that fits in my pocket so I always have it with me. The macro setting helps me control depth-of-field—maybe not quite as well as an SLR, but hey, I have this camera with me! Plus I really love the low light capabilities (and RAW format) of this little powerhouse. As a reader suggested, I went for the little add-on grip thing and it’s made the shooting experience far better than the almost-too-tiny thing it was.
Beautiful shot!
just lovely – brightened my day – thanks 🙂 Naomi
Simply gorgeous! Thanks for putting the technical specs on as well, I really should use my macro setting more 🙂
