Snow sky
Looking at the new snow that had fallen out back on Monday, we could see from that dark, laden sky that more snow was coming. When the sky is darker than the land, it’s such a strange kind of look. I like the way this is a full color image but looks almost monochrome.
Visit Skywatch Friday for more skies seen around the world, and Scenic Sunday for great scenery. And have a happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
You folks certainly got slammed by that storm! When we lived in New England, I used to think that all the wild colors of fall were there to prepare us for the black and white look of winter, so I really appreciate the monochromatic look of this picture.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Beautiful SkyWatch posting!

Happy SWF! Have a good weekend,

Beautiful wintry scene!
Snow creates some very pretty sights as long as it is somewhere else. We do not get much here and I am glad.
Beautiful though I know this is cold. Happy weekend!
My week sky
I love snow, and skies like this aren’t uncommon in the winter here. Nice photo!
Cool… nice shot! Love it!
