Foxgloves macro
Winter has only just begun and of course we’re yearning for spring already. Here’s a vision of spring foxgloves, just a few months away. They are very easy to grow from seed, especially in the Pacific Northwest with our low light and acid soil, but they only bloom the second year.
Visit Macro Friday, Macro Flowers Saturday, Scenic Sunday, SOOC Sunday, Today’s Flowers and Pink Saturday for some great photography on a theme (photo memes).

Thanks for the lovely spring mood and the gorgeous macro. Let’s hope winter will not be too long.
These flowers with the contrasting spots are so beautiful but I could never put my hands on them (for a photo).
I wish you and yours all beautiful things in the world for the new year.
Happy New Year!

Beautiful Sarah! It really isn’t that long until Spring in the Pacific NW now. It seems like February was usually a lovely month when we lived there. (I still miss seeing the early Spring flowers.)

Hi Sara Sweetie…
Happy Pink Saturday and Happy New Year too.
What a beautiful share today. I love the little
bell shaped blooms, called Foxgloves macro.
The color is exquisite and I love the shape of the
blooms. I would be curious to know if they would grow
here in Phoenix in the desert. I love them. They make
me think back to a time when my Momma grew Tiger Lilies.
I believe it is the speckled insides that gives me
that memory.
Oh what a treasure and I thank you so much for sharing
today. I am Country Wings in Phoenix, your newest follower.
I can’t wait to see what you share next. Please stop by
and say hello. I would love to have you visit. I would be
honored if you signed up to follow my blog as well. I love
meeting new friends and sharing along the way.
Many country hugs sweet friend, Sherry
