Seattle waterfront
The other day the sun was pouring through heavy clouds and I so wanted something lovely and scenic, but zipping along at freeway speeds and shooting across my husband’s arms and through the closed window (no time to open it!) I just clicked and hoped for something good. I think this one somehow has a very old-fashioned look, and you might think it’s monochrome except for the red windsocks. I’ll miss that viaduct when it’s gone.

What a lovely shot of the cruise ships docked in Seattle…one of these times when I am there I need to go down there and take a look for myself. Nice capture.
Genie, thanks for stopping by and visiting, but those are ferries, not cruise ships. You should see how enormous cruise ships are, like skyscrapers. But do go down to the waterfront soon. Always neat to see it in person.

Hi Sara,
I love the mood of this photo. I love to paint and photograph skies. I’ve never been to Seattle, but would like to go. The ships….nice shot!
You did a remarkable job on this sight looking through a window. It really turned out very nice.
