Garden peas
Seattle’s extra cool and rainy spring this year, and hardly any summer to speak of (all the heat elsewhere in the USA) have been great for the peas in my garden. Keep ’em picked and they keep pushing out more. Yum!
Visit Shadow Shot Sunday, Outdoor Wednesday, and SOOC Sunday (straight out of the camera), for more fun stuff. If there is only one photo below, please click on Sara’s Fave Photos for the others.

Great shadow shots of very healthy looking plants. Yum, fresh peas.
so green and fresh, the lightning is great
The various shades of green, the shadows and the plump peas – a beautiful combination. Happy SSS!
Would love to sit somewhere that is cool and eat some peas! (And maybe have an ice tea as well). Great shot!
Peace
Love this shot…the lighting is fantastic…all the shadows going on are great! Lucky you being in the cooler part of the USA. We could use some weather like yours right about now!
Wonderful shadows on those peas. The look like very healthy plants, full of color and bearing those tasty peas.
It has been so hot here that our veggies are baking on the vines.
Nice shadows.
Regards!
We feel so fortunate to have the cooler weather now that we’re back in the PNW! Our neighbor said this would be the year of the green tomato. I say be happy for the green peas!! (Our daughter’s blueberries are going wild too — the other day I picked a gallon without moving more than a couple of steps!)
Soon you’ll be picking them! Maybe I should have grown peas instead of tomatoes as our summer here in Edmonton Alberta has been much like yours. Enjoy your harvest.
Pretty photo. Great light.
Not a big fan of peas, 🙂 , I’ll pretend they are string beans. HA
Beautiful shadows shining through your pea patch! Hot and dry in my part of the country. *sigh*
Lucky you: You love peas and peas love cool weather!
I’M YOUR SHADOW
Hello, there, I’m your shadow,
I tag after you;
Whatever you are doing,
That is what I do.
If you should fling a football
Forty yards or more,
I’ll be right beside you,
Evening the score.
If you should flick a booger
From your stuffy nose,
I will surely do the same—
Watch how far it goes!
So, friend, be very careful
What you say and do—
Whatever you are doing,
I’ll do just as you!

What a great shot. I especially like the shadows.
