Glass vase with rose stems
I know this is not my usual kind of subject, but heck, gotta go with these things sometimes. This was a bouquet of roses given to a friend (my roses!) and I just loved how the water and stems looked on her desk. I hope you enjoy the photo. [Note: see the August 22 post, three above this one, for the roses!]
Watery Wednesday, SOOC Sunday (straight out of the camera) and Macro Monday are all neat blogs and memes, well worth a visit. If there is only one photo below, please click on Sara’s Fave Photos for the others.

I love this photo…the composition, the reflections in the vase water and the stems floating in the vase. Lovely.

I love the way you can see right through the glass but it is also distorted while the stems inside are crystal clear.

Yup, not your usual style at all, but we all have to continue to learn and grow…
I love the photo, though! A very necessary part of a bouquet, yet the most frequently ignored!

I also often take photos of the stems in the vase and i love the way the light plays on them sometimes. Your shot is cool!
