Lilac leaves in autumn
Last year I planted several different lilac shrubs in front by the street. I had a few flowers this spring (they are young plants, and lilacs are very long lived and so take their time about flowering) but this season I am surprised to find that some of the leaves are yellow, some purplish, and some have these pretty red and yellow leaves, with pink tones. All right!
Try some new sites: Mellow Yellow Monday, Ruby Tuesday, Pink Saturday, Macro Friday, Macro Monday and Outdoor Wednesday. Quite interesting, you’ll see. But first, be sure you have the complete blog on view here by clicking on Sara’s Fave Photos.
I have NEVER seen a lilac leaf turn this color. I feel privileged to catch a glimpse!
YEA FOR SCARLET
Yea for scarlet, yea for red!
Yea for summertime that’s fled
To some far-off frigid place,
Where no ruby shows its face!

Happy Pink Saturday Sara Sweetie…
Oh what a beautiful and awesome share today. Isn’t it magical what God can do with his pain and paintbrush in our lives each day? I am always so amazed.
We don’t see alot of Fall here in Phoenix. You have to drive up north to really see the changes. Your share touched me today. Thank you sweet friend. Country hugs and much love, Sherry
Simply beautiful!
