Daffodil shoots emerging
It may be a long haul until actual spring that has flowers and warm weather, but I am all psyched when I see these little shoots of daffodils emerging in winter’s melting snow. So brave and yet so tender looking! This inspires me, so I am calling it my Best Post of the Week.
Have a look at Shadow Shot Sunday 2, Macro Friday, Macro Monday, Macro Flowers Saturday, Today’s Flowers, Weekend Flowers, Floral Friday, Scenic Sunday, Outdoor Wednesday and Watery Wednesday for more neat photos. Perhaps do a search here for snow, or winter, first? Always return to the full blog by clicking on Sara’s Fave Photos.
What a hopeful photograph! Yes – Spring WILL come!!
Jeszcze trochę czasu i będą z pąków piękne wiosenne kwiaty. Pozdrawiam. *** A little time and be with beautiful spring flowers buds. Yours.
Sign of Spring already?
Gorgeous!
Crab Apple, please come and see it’s beauty.
i can´t wait to see them blooming 🙂 thanks!
Oh, I’m jealous! I remember early flowers peeking through the snow on the coast. Now I’m in eastern Alberta where spring doesn’t come until the third week in May.
Beautiful photo!

How sad these little plants are striving for life through the ice and snow. I love spring but not winter.
Isn’t nature amazing?! Love the shot…very nice composition.
This is such an interesting photo! The little shoot almost looks as if it is emerging from bubbles! So lovely!
So sorry about your “pop-up” issue! I have an extensive monitor of all websites and nothing has ever shown as you describe! I have even run a check manually and it is quite clear! I am wondering if maybe it is something left over from where you have been! No one else out of all the contributors has mentioned this issue, so I wonder if this could be the case! I really don’t know, so can only apologise!
Lovely shot.
Regards and best wishes
I love these early signs of spring!

Some Chinese had a bulb which they grow at Chinese New Year, if they sprout well on that day, the year will be good.
Always amazes me how everything comes back from such cold.
Wow! This is very cool!
Amazing!
The spring is soon there!
There is something so profound here. Life captured, tenacity captured, promise, hope… Wonderful!
Yes, it is a very good symbol of anything positive: growth, hope, future, abundance, joy, delight, etc, etc.
