Pink bougainvillea in my living room
We have a “tree” (standard) bougainvillea in a pot that we put on the sunny patio in the summer and bring inside when it gets cool. It’s very sensitive and usually loses all its leaves in protest when it is moved, in or out. This year it forgave us, as I babied it as much as possible. And lo! a flower! They are much pinker in July, but I’ll take it.

Its a gorgeous flower in mid winter. I always admire this plant in the garden center but those have smaller flowers. Beautiful.

An amazing light effect on this fragile flower! And the shadows framing it all give the flower prime focus in the photo!

The shadow on this beautiful flower is awesome….it’s shape os flawless. We had a hedge of these where we live in Florida and it was so pretty. I still remember it after all of these years. A great macro shot this week. genie

I missed that kind of flowers. It is very typical in Philippines and it is not hard to maintain. They come in different color too:)
Visiting for Pink Saturday! Here’s my share- hope you can stop by:)

I have several of these plants. Have been able to keep them alive for two seasons now. They are in my garage now waiting for spring. Most of mine or red and orange.
