Mt. Rainier at dawn
I so rarely get up really early (I am NOT a morning person) that it was just a fluke that on Friday when I had to, there was Mt. Rainier with snow on top, just visible from our backyard, all lit up with a peachy glow. It helped the early hour, believe me.

How nice that the Universe rewarded your early rise that day with such a beautiful sight! This is just gorgeous, and it would have been a shame to have missed it. (I have a friend in Seattle who is also not a morning person, but whenever she sees my sunrise photos she always says she really needs to get up earlier – I will have to show her your photo so she can see exactly what she’s missing!) 🙂
What an awesome capture of Mt Rainer and such a glorious way to begin any day!! We do live in a beautiful place, don’t we!! Have a great weekend, Sara!!
How lucky you are to have this spectacular view of Mt Rainier from your own backyard. The pink sky makes it look exquisite. I just spent three months with my brother in Gig Harbor and I must have hundreds of shots of Rainier, but none as colorful as this.
