Ferris wheel sunset
What a difference a few days makes (see a few posts down)! I know I shouldn’t take photos while I am driving, but who could resist with a view like this out the window? This view from the elevated Viaduct won’t be here much longer, either. I just point the camera in the general direction, take as many as it can take, and sometimes I am lucky, like with this beauty. This is Seattle’s brand new ferris wheel, just opened this summer.

Wow, I think I probably would have thrown caution to the wind too, and snapped photos of this beautiful scene out my car window! (Shame there wasn’t a place to pull over! That viaduct needs a “scenic overlook” pullover spot on it!) Your earlier photo of the Ferris wheel with the overcast backdrop was pretty too – the Ferris wheel fairly glowed against those clouds – but this one, this one is really special!
I keep hearing Don Henley’s “The Boys of Summer” playing in my head as a soundtrack to this photo. 🙂
