Red and purple primroses
The color of these primrose flowers is hard to photograph properly. It’s a wonderful blend of purple and magenta and red, with bright yellow centers to set it all off. And those healthy, crinkly leaves. I want some!

Aren’t they pretty? I love primroses, these are a lovely color. Where I grew up in England I only ever saw the yellow ones. But then I wasn’t too clever about flowers back then, maybe there were others and I just didn’t recognize them as such. Have a wonderful day Sara and thanks for sharing these.

Primroses are such beautiful little things. I find reds in the garden very hard to photograph. The colour just does not come out right and certainly the modulation of tone I cannot get to look real.
The leaves of your primroses remind me of African violet leaves. The colors of the petals are beautiful. Very rich in their colors. genie
