Color or sepia image?
In general, I am a fan of the most natural look possible of the natural world. I like photos because they capture a beautiful sight that I’d like to revisit. But sometimes, the lure of “art” beckons. I’d like your opinion. Which of the two images below appeals the most? Which would you like hanging on your wall? Thank you for your input.

Both are beauties!
I like them both. With the color image, the yellow and reflection really stand out. With the sepia, it’s all about the lines!
Hi Sara,
How ya doin? Really nice photo. I like the color one better myself. Those greens are absolutely gorgeous punctuated by the yellows and the little bits of white. The sepia one is nice for other reasons, but I just love the greens.
Both are lovely but I’d like to have the color image on my wall. Have a fabulous week!

Both are lovely for different reasons. I think the Sepia gives it a peaceful feel but I’ve got to go with “color” as my favorite. It just make the scene come alive.
I love colors and love your shot!

Oh what a spectacular sight! They are both lovely, but i am biased to the normal natural look, and green better sooth the tired eyes and disoriented minds.
the monochrome is interesting but i still prefer colors when it comes to nature. the natural colors are beautiful. i prefer monochrome when subjects are people or structures.
Both are really nice shots, but I agree with the above commenter (Luna) that nature shots are better in colour and that monotone (B/W or sepia) works better with things such as buildings or people.

I’m trying the comment again, as the link to my post didn’t seem to work with the first one.
I like both images for different reasons! The first one is a beautiful capture of a lovely scene while the second version adds a touch of art!
Came here again from Watery meme.
Nice to enjoy again your wonderful shots!
I’d put the coloured photo on my wall. The sepia photo is lovely too, but it wouldn’t end up framed on my wall.
I would have loved a bit more contrast in the bw image. The flowers almost dissappear. Apart from that, the surrounding would determine what image I would chose.
It’s a question worth asking. However, I miss the color and contrast reflected on water in the sepia tones. Although both are beautiful in their own way, I agree with the other comments that I would not
frame this in sepia.
