Rose macro
At a friend’s birthday party in the park yesterday, I brought flowers and there was a purple tablecloth. I like this photo because such a tiny slice is in focus, and that isn’t even much of the big rose and its petals, but mostly the sepal of the bud. Do you like it? Be honest, now.

Oh yes of course, i like it, not because of the rose but because of the photography! The slightly fading focus of the background with the eyes resting on the violet, oh i love it!

I love the petunias in the next image as well!! I had not realized petunias were fragrant at all…
The petals are very voluptuous, I like the tinting on the edges, and detailed edging of the bud leaf.
