Wild Horse monument
At a Columbia River crossing in Washington State, there’s a monument to the wild horses that roamed the area. The sky is huge and the horses, although life size, look so tiny.

That would be something to see!!! I love the hills fading into the background!!!
Wow! I didn’t know such a monument existed.
we drove by it this past weekend! it’s pretty cool how much bigger they actually are once you get up close.
I also did not know that monument existed. I have a lot of learning about our country to do and places to see that I have never been too. Too bad we are not able to travel like would like to. Maybe someday.
Thank you for sharing.

WOw! That is some sight!
My favorite place. “Grandfather lets loose the Ponies.” Quite a story to the whole thing. I think most people have forgotten the legend. The story of creation. research it. MB
Wow, this photo is beautiful! Imagine being a wild horse, running with the wind….it couldn’t be better 🙂
Beautiful scene!
Have a wonderful week-end!

Even from a distance, those horses are so distinct and impressive on the crest of the hill. Lovely scene.
I would love to see the horse sculptures close up. They look amazingly life-like.
Love that big sky. Too bad they aren’t real horses.
