Chinese embroidery

When I was in the Seattle Asian Art Museum recently, I saw this detail of antique Chinese embroidery of ocean waves that I thought you might enjoy.

Can you imagine doing all that embroidery by hand? Makes the whole image doubly impressive!!!
I love the brugmansia in the next post, too!! I have not seen one in a couple of years, and I kind of miss it…
