Oh how I love peonies. We have two plants in our garden but we’ll have to wait until next year to see them once again.
I miss them but your photo captures their beauty until the real ones bloom.
I actually went to a wedding and took their petals to use for confetti…they caused quite a stir and lots of comments, plus they smelled divine!

I adore peonies and grow them. I cant seem to get enough. I just bought some yesterday at Whole Foods they have not opened yet.
I love flowers of all kind. Never have had these beauties tho. So very pretty.
