Hummingbird at feeder
We have the kind of hummingbird feeder that suction-cups to the window. Not only does it provide a great view from indoors, but the extra heat from the house keeps the feeder mostly ice free. I went outside to take pictures of the snow and here is our little friend, posing nicely.
Joining up at Outdoor Wednesday, Ruby Tuesday 2, Water World Wednesday, Camera Critters, NF Winged, Scenic Weekends, Monday Mellow Yellows, Nature Notes Wednesday, Weekend Reflections, Macro Monday, I Heart Macro Saturday, Our World Tuesday and My Romantic Home. Thanks so much for your visit here, and do drop by again soon.

What a beautiful bird! I don’t think I’ve seen any hummingbirds since I left California. Then again I haven’t had a hummingbird feeder either. 🙂

We won’t see any hummingbirds until about May. We aren’t that much farther north, but I guess that little distance makes a difference. – Margy

Oh my gosh – you have your hummers year-round? How lucky you are! Our ruby-throats don’t return to Massachusetts until early May! I love your photo!
