Knitted bike rack
We have some artistic knitters in Burien, Washington. This yarn-covered bike rack (and more, not shown) is what some creative person or persons did to decorate the bike rack at the Burien Community Center recently. Stuff like this really floats my boat.

Interesting and clever idea. I just wonder how long it will last once people start chaining their bikes to it.
Today is my first entry in NF Monday (Image #21 on the list.) Please stop by.
This craze has really taken off. I have seen it in Australia and over here in London and Oxford. Often brightens up an otherwise dull structure.
Ha, fun! I love to see where these pop up.
Well done
Creative and it appears much more inviting
That is a lot of work for a bike rack.
Wow, so creative. The most beautiful bike rack I’ve ever seen.
oh, my gosh! that’s hilarious! and neat! and creative! 🙂
thanks for linking in!
that is really cool
Well that is a very creative covered bike rack and I was wondering how they got it on as both ends are on the ground. Surely they didn’t have to sew it all on! that would brighten up anyone’s day if they were passing it. thanks for sharing.
Neat bike rack..Very colorful! Have a happy weekend!
That is fun, creative and colorful. Great find.
Well, that is interesting.

What a fun and creative idea!
Yarn bombing seems to be an emerging craze on my Mornington Peninsula – especially round tree trunks. Very clever to try them out on bike racks. Gives them quite an artistic shape.
