Winter flowers
In the Pacific Northwest, our mild climate means some things are actually blooming in late December, if you look hard enough.
Joining up with Our World Tuesday, Shadow Shot Sunday 2, Straight out of the Camera Sunday, I Heart Macro Saturday, Macro Monday, Pink Saturday, Outdoor Wednesday, Today’s Flowers, Floral Friday, My Romantic Home, and Saturday Show Off. Trying a new meme today, Friday Greens. If you see only one photo above, please click on the script letters of Sara’s Fave Photos Blog above. See you again soon!
The little buds are so sweet. Lovely lighting in the background.
Great flowers
Lovely shadow on the leaves and the back lighting is great. It is going to be a real picture when the buds open.
Precious little blossoms!
Lovely!
Hope you are having a wonderful day!

Feeling slightly envious that things are still able to bloom there! Although I do have paper whites blooming in my dining room right now, so perhaps my ‘envy’ is not totally ‘legit’!
What a nice flower, a delicate photo with a great bokeh!
Beautiful!
As you can see I am late commenting but I am so glad I got here to see your lovely photos Sara. Thank you so much!
Beautiful Sara! Thanks for sharing the love up-close with I Heart Macro… Happy New Year:-
Lovely light! I don’t think I’ve seen these flowers before.

(PS: Another Friday meme you may enjoy is Friday Greens: http://nixpages.blogspot.com.au/2015/01/friday-greens.html)
Just lovely.
What a lovely shot, Sara! It’s as though the flowers are playing peek-a-boo amongst the leaves.
Thanks for supporting Friday Greens. Looking forward to your next contribution!
