Winter shadow scene
It’s hard to know what to call a scene like this. It’s just dried hydrangea blossoms on the bush, caught in some wonderful light on Christmas Day. I thought it looked good in black and white since the colors were kind of dull. Do you like it?

Beautiful sense of gentle mystery in this lovely scene. The black and white works well.

Yes, black and white works well. It would probably look nowhere near as attractive in colour. I like the sunlit dried blossoms against the dark background. The shadows are a bonus. I’m glad you’re enjoying black and white photography.

I think it would’ve looked fine in color-but, I’m one who does like how old, dried and withered flowers look.
