Scotch broom
I saw a lot of this yellow plant by the roadside when I lived in Northern California. I know it sometimes goes where it is not wanted, but I am so happy to see its cheerful yellow in the springtime.

Such a neat photo Sara.
Love the composition of this photo. The clouds are perfect.
It really looks nice with the blue sky as a background.
Beautiful spring colors! The yellow against the sky is lovely.
That’s really pretty – a nice plant, and nice composition.

I am happy to be reminded of what this is called. I have been seeing it all over the place lately and couldn’t remember the name. I knew it was a broom but was thinking of witches broom…which didn’t sound quite right. It’s very striking in the garden.
Beautiful! Yellow makes me happy 🙂
Wonderful yellow tree.
I’m with you Sara, it is lovely!
Lovely shot, Sara!
