Is this somehow related to the single petal camelia?
Sara on 22 Sep 2015 at 2:13 pm #
Photo Cache, Japanese anemones are not related to camelias. Camelias are woody plants, from shrubs to big trees, that are evergreen in this Pacific Northwest climate, with waxy petals. Japanese anemones are perennial but die back in winter. The flowers do look a little similar, but the anemone petals are much softer and more delicate.
