Pink anthurium
These shiny tropical flowers, really bracts, are so pretty and much easier to photograph than matte flowers. Anthuriums are also called “sweetheart flowers” and “little boy flowers.” Must be the heart shape, right?
Joining Our World Tuesday, I Heart Macro Saturday, Macro Monday, Wednesday Around the World (WATW), Photo Friday, Floral Friday, Today’s Flowers, Pink Saturday, Shadow Shot Sunday 2, and Saturday Show Off. Thank you for visiting.
I love this delicate pink anthurium. Thank you for sharing it Sara.
Gorgeous!
lovely flower shot….I have heard of them being called heart flowers but never heard little boy flowers.
Thast is a most unusual flower. I have seen white ones before, but never the pink. thanks for sharing.
I was just thinking that I wouldn’t be able to show this list to my freshman students – too “little boy” still themselves lol!
