Tumbling Tauruses
At the Seattle Art Museum recently I stopped to take a photo of a favorite exhibit: “Inopportune: Stage One,” also known as Tumbling Tauruses. I always like viewing this explosive-looking sculpture from the side, for some reason. Now I read it’s coming down soon. Go see them before they are gone!

I can’t visit it, far to far away but i wish you lots of fun before its gone. Its quit unusual art… hope they don’t fall down …
I can’t quite tell from these photos how the cars are suspended. This is certainly a striking display though!

This is awesome! I’d love to see how the display works and is mounted. It’s always fascinating to learn those behind the scenes insights.
Great. We had these exhibited at the Biennale of Sydney a few years ago. I have a photo of them on my blog.
Sydney – City and Suburbs
It looks quite spectaculair!
COOL! I guess the lights are continuously changing along the length of those rods, which would make for an even more dynamic scene.
Looks cool! Thanks for sharing!
