Roses before the storm
They predicted a big rainstorm so I went and picked most of the open roses that looked good. It’s raining hard now!

Beautiful Sara, your rose garden must be magnificent to produce all those roses, what ones have you got there please?
Michelle, I don’t know all the names and it’s too wet out now to go and check. The big red ones are Proud Land. The yellow/pink is a Peace. The white is Honor. The paler ones are a faded Double Delight. There’s a medium pink at upper left that I’ve never known the name of. The little yellow one at the bottom is Julia Child. And I think the orange is Tropicana, but not sure. Hope that’s helpful. Thanks for the compliment!
They are just beautiful. We’ve already lost our roses to the cooler weather…just the rose hips left now.
My favorite.
They’re lovely!
