Red calla lilies and yellow ball flowers
One of my favorite images from the NW Flower & Garden Show (#NWFGS) is this bouquet of deep red and yellow callas, with some kind of ball flower inserted into each one. Over a cloud of pale green hydrangeas, naturally.
This just in! These ball flowers are Craspedia (Drumstick Flower)! You can buy seeds!
Linking up with Through My Lens Monday, Macro Monday, Ruby Tuesday 2, Our World Tuesday, Tuesday’s Wordless Wednesday, Wordless Wednesday, Floral Bliss Wednesday, Floral Friday, Friday Just Be, Orange You Glad It’s Friday, and Pink Saturday. Have a wonderful day.
So pretty.
I wonder how the florist was able to combine these two! Looks amazing. I have seen these Craspedia as cut flowers in Finland.
So beautiful and special!
very pretty. and nicely combined.
I’ve never seen “mystery ball flowers” before. That’s a perfect name for them!
