This year some trees are doing the magical thing. This maple tree has become completely red, in a friend’s backyard the other day.

Gorgeous fall colors! I love seeing this color in autumn.
A very dry summer and September have made for some very dull fall foliage here in NW Arkansas. There are a few exceptions, but the season has been short and disappointing this year.
That tree is spectacular.

Breathtaking – so very pretty. I love maples in the fall – I think they’re among the most vividly colored trees.
