Taj Mahal at Agra

My sister Jo Sanders is travelling in India. Here is her blog post about the Taj Mahal, with much about its shimmery effect and its extraordinary architecture.

George Washington Bridge at night

When I was in NYC last weekend, the George Washington Bridge was all lit up. I wasn’t able to get a photo of it, but my dear sister-in-law was and this is her photo. I love this image.

Cloisters garden

The Cloisters museum and gardens, the branch of The Metropolitan Museum of Art devoted to the art and architecture of medieval Europe, is in New York City. I was lucky enough to visit on a perfectly still and warm November afternoon. This area is a garden devoted to medicinal plants and herbs used in medieval times.

Driftwood on the beach

Someone built this structure out of driftwood at Richmond Beach in Washington. Almost looks like a dinosaur skeleton, doesn’t it?
