Maple Valley arboretum

Had a great time vending at the Plant Sale at the Lake Wilderness Arboretum in Maple Valley, WA last weekend. This view of red Japanese maples in the afternoon light looked almost like fall colors.

Seahurst Park

Went to see the renovated Seahurst Park in Burien, WA. This forest scene image doesn’t show the new beach they put in, but you don’t see ferns growing on trees everywhere.

Field of red tulips

I’ve been sick with that awful bug that’s going around, so here’s a shot from last year’s Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, north of Seattle, WA. This year the warm weather is bringing earlier blooming up there in Skagit County.

Cherry tree in bloom

Right across from my house, the pink tree magnificence, at least when the sun comes out. An early spring this year. Sorry, Boston!
