Unripe grapes

Green, unripe grapes on the vine. These will be purple when they are ripe. Perhaps the red stems are a hint of that?

Plant shadows

My fave haunt in Seattle: the hidden gem, the Volunteer Park Conservatory. If you get a chance to go there for a special evening event, do it!

The name of this rose is Honor. The late afternoon light was so beautiful this evening.

And here it is in black and white. I always have such resistance to letting the color go. Which is more thrilling?

Magenta bougainvillea

I have a bougainvillea standard (little tree) that I take inside each fall. Here it is enjoying the sunshine on our patio.

Lavender in the garden

Staying in Sequim for the Lavender Festival, this was in the yard where we stayed. Can’t you just smell the fragrance?

Also our host baked us a cherry pie with cherries from her tree!
